Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Co.

FVFAC units were dispatched to a dwelling fire in the 1300 block of West Jarrettsville Rd at approximately 0120 hours this morning (7/4/2022). Engine 1311, Truck 13 and Tanker 13 responded to assist the Jarrettsville VFC and other area Volunteer Fire Companies on this call. First arriving units reported a single story dwelling with fire visible. No injuries were reported to residents or emergency personnel. The Office of the State Fire Marshal is handling the investigation into the cause and origin of the fire. Damages are estimated at $200,000.00. It is reported that smoke alarms were present in the dwelling and did activate.
