This week the FVFAC "Day Crew" made a few trips out in the community to visit with some of our youngest neighbors to talk about basic fire safety and to show them our equipment. On Tuesday, Engine 1311 and Truck 13, staffed by FF Kaylin Bordenski, FF/EMT Nick Janczak, FF/PM Corey Mitchell and Deputy Chief Dan McKinney visited the Fallston Methodist Church Pre School and demonstrated to the students our personal protective equipment and to talk about home fire safety.

Engine 1311, Truck 13 and Tanker 13, staffed by FF/EMT Kaiti Wood, FF/EMT Kai Wood, FF Alex Hilber, FF/Pump Operator Ron Harrison, Capt. Kevin Hartlove, Asst. Chief Colaianni, and Chief Blankenship made a trip to Fallston Presbyterian Pre School on Thursday to show our equipment and talk about fire safety.

Our Officers and Members look forward to visiting the school children in our community to talk about fire safety and explain our role as local First Responders in a relaxed environment, and to answer questions from the students and staff.
