Saturday October 19, 2019 from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. the FVFAC will present our 2019 Public Safety Open House!! Along with FVFAC equipment we will also have in attendance numerous other public safety and allied agencies. Stop by, talk to your local first responders and others to learn about smoke alarms, home escape routes, residential sprinklers, and how we work to improve your safety and quality of life!!
At this time we are expecting the Maryland Sate Police Aviation Command Trooper 1 Helicopter to arrive at 11 A.M., FVFAC personnel will be performing a vehicle extrication demonstration using hydraulic rescue tools and other equipment carried on our Rescue 1351 at 12 noon, and at 2 P.M. we will be demonstrating a live fire exercise involving a motor vehicle.
We will also have a vendor fair this year along with representatives of several health and safety agencies to provide information on the services available to our community.
There will be a few food trucks on site, and Rita’s !!!
