At approximately 7:40 P.M. Sunday April 11, 2021 the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Co was dispatched to MD 152 near Falls Crest Drive for a report of a truck fire.

Chief 13 (Blankenship) arrived at the scene and reported a well involved tractor with trailer at 7:41 P.M. Rescue 1351 arrived at 7:43 P.M. followed shortly by Tanker 1321, Engine 1312, Truck 1331, Brush 1342, additional Co. 13 Chief Officers and Co 13 Fire Police.

Crews from the units on scene promptly extinguished the fire involving the tractor. There was no extension or damage to the refrigerated trailer which was loaded with perishable food items.

Maryland State Police and FVFAC Fire Police handled traffic and scene control until the damaged tractor was removed by a local towing company, and the trailer by the trucking company. There were no hazardous materials involved, or any excess fluid leakage from the tractor. No injurers were reported. The last FVFAC units cleared the scene at approximately 10 P.M.
