It is with great sadness that we, The Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Co., Inc. announce the passing of Life Member and Past Assistant EMS Chief Alphonsus "Butch" Coccagna on May 5, 2025.

Butch joined FVFAC in October 1981 and moved through the ranks, serving as an EMS Lieutenant in 1992, EMS Captain in 1989 and 1990, and EMS Assistant Chief from 1984 to 1988. His leadership was also felt during his time on the Board of Directors from 2001 to 2003, where he helped guide our company forward.

Butch and his late wife Diane were known for their generosity, extending their care not only to their family but also to the community. In their later years, they opened their hearts and home to many children in foster care. Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
