Based on the initial dispatch comments from the caller which stated quotmultiple patients….tree on house….hit kidsquot FVFAC also responded Rescue 1351 with Medic 1391. On arrival Fallston crews found that a contractor had been taking down a large tree approx. 60 feet tall which fell on the roof of a one-story wood frame dwelling. The dwelling was occupied at the time of the incident by two adults and two children. The tree collapsed the roof of the dwelling beginning at the side quotBquot wall along the long axis of the structure. In addition part of the side quotAquot wall was pushed out and unstable. A Structural Collapse Rescue assignment was requested bringing additional resources to the scene from the Bel Air VFC Rescue 351 E. 314 Utility and Collapse unit Aberdeen VFD Rescue 251 and APGFD Rescue1251 and Utility 1266 and the HCVFEMSA Technical Rescue Team TRT. As the victims were removed from the dwelling and assessed by FVFAC personnel two additional st1placeEMSst1place transport units A. 1392 and M. 791 Jarrettsville VFC were requested. Arriving personnel from Bel Air VFC assisted with patient care and removal of the patients to the ambulances for transport. After all occupants of the house were accounted for the response of the TRT units was scaled back. M. 1392 transported two pediatric patients to st1placest1placenameJohnsst1placename st1placenameHopkinsst1placename st1placenameChildrensst1placename st1placetypeCenterst1placetypest1place in st1cityst1placeBaltimorest1placest1city and M. 791 transported one adult to st1placest1placenameUpperst1placename st1placenameChesapeakest1placename st1placenameMedicalst1placename st1placetypeCenterst1placetypest1place all suffering from non-life threatening injuries. One adult refused st1placeEMSst1place transport at the scene. The st1placest1placenameHarfordst1placename st1placetypeCountyst1placetypest1place building inspector deemed the dwelling not habitable and Harford County Community Services Disaster Assistance was contacted to determine the immediate needs of the occupants of the house. There were no injuries to the contractors personnel or responding emergency personnel.
